Popular Types of Vietnamese Coffee


Robusta:Accounting for more than 90% of Vietnam’s total coffee production, Robusta beans are known for their strong, bitter taste. They are most commonly used to brew traditional Vietnamese drip coffee (cà phê phin).

Arabica:Featuring a lighter, more aromatic profile with mild acidity, Arabica is mainly grown in highland regions such as Măng Đen.

Culi:A special type of coffee bean that is round rather than flat like other varieties, Culi beans deliver a bold and distinctive flavor.

Moka:A variant of Arabica, Moka has an elegant, refined aroma and flavor, often cultivated in misty, high-altitude areas.
